Each coach carries certifications well beyond the minimally required CrossFit certifications and come from a variety of training backgrounds making them some of the most knowledgeable and skilled in the area. David, Chris and Cassandra hold the responsibility of your trust in them in the very highest regard and work hard to bring you the very best experience possible!

David Kolton | Coach

Coach David Kolton

I enjoy helping people reach their goals and know that they are healthier and fitter for it! I am an avid learner and love taking classes and participating in continuing education seminars on a regular basis so I can be sure I’m the best I can be at helping others. Having a background in Corrective Exercise (NASM-CES) and Performance Enhancement (NASM-PES) gives me the knowledge on how to properly scale exercises up or down depending on the client’s need which is extremely important in both producing results and minimizing injury.

There is nothing more rewarding than having a client achieve something they thought previously unattainable. The surge of confidence and personal satisfaction they find for themselves is truly incredible! I am honored and humbled to be a part of the process each and every time!

My Background: I was a wrestler in high school but found my true passion in the weight room where in my senior year I set a bench press record which still stands to this day. In my 20’s I worked on building strength and dabbled in bodybuilding, in my 30’s I trained for marathons, raced in lots of 5k and 10k races, and completed a triathlon. Now in my 40’s I actively compete in Crossfit and Olympic weightlifting and find myself stronger and fitter than I have ever been!

Chris May | Coach

Coach Chris May

Since birth I was surrounded by the athletic world, so at an early age I dedicated my life to training. I was a four-sport athlete throughout high school and continued on to become a collegiate pitcher. After two years of collegiate baseball I decided to move to Florida in pursuit of a career in fitness. While there, I attended Palm Beach Atlantic University where I studied and graduated with a Bachelor of Art in Biblical Studies.

My Background: While in Florida, I began to miss the competitive atmosphere that comes with sports. So like other athletes, I began aggressively training regularly in jiu jitsu, muay thai and boxing. I began to realize for a 140 lb. fighter I was a lot stronger that most people I fought. A lot of people began requesting training programs from me so after acquiring my ACE fitness certification, I became the Strength and Conditioning Coach at Palm Beach Boxing where I trained amateur and professional MMA fighters and boxers. I have trained strength and conditioning for semi-pro and collegiate level football players, professional soccer players and college athletes in basketball, track and baseball. Most importantly I understand the significance of flexibility has in the performance of an athlete. So in order to better train athletes, I have registered over 700 training hours as a yoga instructor.
