As a young child, I was a fast sprinter, I competed in dance and did some gymnastics. But to say I was “athletic” is an overstatement. I wasn’t very active, especially in my teen years, and once I entered my 30’s, as a mother of two young girls, I was feeling older than I should.
I decided to make a change. In committing to a healthy lifestyle, I found CrossFit and my love for weightlifting and competing! The community is one of the best things that I have ever had in my life. The support we all give each other is unparalleled. The blend of these elements is what makes it so great, plus all in one hour’s time! I try to compete every so often in local events to push myself a little harder and keep getting better!
It became clear to me that my passion for fitness must be furthered by earning my coaching credentials. I steadily completed the classes necessary to coach CrossFit and Weightlifting and Nutrition, checking them off one by one!
Since my fitness journey began, I noticed that all the other areas of my life improved substantially and I am a better mom, friend, employee, you name it! Not only that, I am in the best shape of my life and can keep up with my young kids! I am truly lucky to be able to help others find their best selves through fitness! I look forward to that being you!
